The resistance-adjustable test pencil mainly comprises a pencil body, a detection rod, an indicator light, a resistor module and a rear end cover which also serves as a grounding electrode, where the detection rod, the indicator light, the resistor module and the rear end cover which also serves as the grounding electrode are electrically connected in sequence, the indicator light and the resistor module are arranged in the pencil body, the detector rod is arranged at one end of the pencil body, the other end of the pencil body is provided with internal threads, the rear end cover is in threaded connection with the other end of the pencil body and an end part of the rear end cover jacks the resistor module, and the resistor module is formed by overlaying a plurality of resistors. Due to adoption of a resistance-adjustable structural form, a voltage testing range is widened; particularly by adoption of a light-emitting diode, relatively low voltage can be tested, the resistance-adjustable test pencil is very suitable for detecting a sensor in an automobile circuit, the sensor generally outputs voltage of 0.1V to 1.0V, and the voltage is relatively low; and thus the resistance-adjustable test pencil used for automobile circuit detection has the characteristics of being wide in voltage testing range, being high in test precision, being safe and reliable, and being low in cost.
