The device comprises a heat collection cavity installed at the outlet of an exhaust manifold of the engine, the upper portion of the heat collection cavity is arranged into a straight-tube-shaped tail gas inlet pipe, the middle of the heat collection cavity is arranged into a straight-tube-shaped heat collection pipe, the lower portion of the heat collection cavity is arranged into a straight-tube-shaped tail gas outlet pipe, a conical first transition pipe is arranged between the tail gas inlet pipe and the heat collection pipe, and a conical second transition pipe is arranged between the heat collection pipe and the tail gas outlet pipe; an upper installing plate and a lower installing plate are arranged in the heat collection pipe, multiple tail gas through holes are formed in the upper installing plate and the lower installing plate respectively, and heat exchange pipes are connected between the tail gas through holes in the upper installing plate and the lower installing plate; the upper portion of the heat collection pipe is provided with an air inlet pipe, the lower portion of the heat collection pipe is provided with an air outlet pipe, an outlet of the air outlet pipe is provided with a turbine shell, a turbine is arranged in the turbine shell, an outlet shaft of the turbine is provided with a step-up gear box, and the outlet end of the step-up gear box is provided with an electric generator.
