The outdoor unit comprises a bottom plate and a compressor arranged on the bottom plate. The indoor unit comprises an indoor unit shell. The outdoor unit further comprises a metal shell which is installed on the bottom plate and covers the compressor. A thermoelectric power generation piece is arranged on the outer surface of the metal shell. The heat source end of the thermoelectric power generation piece faces the outer surface of the metal shell. The indoor unit comprises an electricity storage device and a USB interface assembly. The electricity storage device is connected with the thermoelectric power generation piece. The USB interface assembly comprises a USB circuit board and the USB interface which are connected. The USB circuit board is connected with the electricity storage device. The USB interface is exposed out of the indoor unit shell. By means of the air conditioner with the USB interface, a large amount of waste heat generated when the air conditioner runs is converted into electric energy through the thermoelectric power generation piece to be stored in the electricity storage device, and people can conduct charging through the USB interface. Electricity fees are saved for users while the waste heat is recycled and the electric energy is saved.
