In a telescopic belt conveyor tensioning system, a pulley on a tensioning oil cylinder and a pulley on a walking trolley are connected through a plurality of steel wire ropes in a twined mode; when the hydraulic cylinder is tensioned, a cylinder rod rotates relative to a cylinder tube under the action of rotation torque of the steel wire ropes themselves, the steel wire ropes will be twined together, and therefore the hydraulic tensioning system loses efficacy. The hydraulic cylinder capable of bearing the rotation torque is characterized in that two hydraulic cylinder bodies are welded together side by side and are combined for use; rod end chambers and non-rod end chambers of the two hydraulic cylinder bodies are communicated respectively through welded steel tubes; cylinder rods of the two hydraulic cylinder bodies are connected together through a connecting mechanism and jointly act on an executive component.
