The slotting tool comprises a blade, a flat key, a lock nut, a hexagon socket screw and a tool body. The bottom surface of the fixed part of the blade is provided with a flat key groove which is in slide fit with the flat key, the front end of the flat key groove is downwards provided with a forward cant forming the included angle of 80 degrees with the horizontal plane, and the rear end of the flat key groove is provided with a rearward cant forming the included angle of 7 degrees with the vertical plane. The lock nut is a square nut, the center of the square is provided with an internal thread matched with the hexagon socket screw, and the front side face and the rear side face of the lock nut are provided with cants which are matched with a rear blade cant and a rear tool groove cant respectively. The tool body is an oblong block with the area being A*A, a transverse groove in the front end of the tool body is downwards provided with a cant forming the included angle of 80 degrees with the bottom plane, the back of the groove is downwards provided with a forward cant forming the included angle of 7 degrees with the vertical plane, the bottom surface of the groove is provided with a flat key groove which is in tight fit with the flat key, and the lower plane of the tool body is provided with a hexagon socket screw mounting hole.
