The anti-dry-grinding lubricating box comprises an upper engine oil cavity and a lower engine oil cavity, wherein an engine oil chamber is formed in the upper part of each engine oil cavity, a lubricating chamber is formed in the lower part of each engine oil cavity, the upper engine oil cavity and the lower engine oil cavity are connected through internal threads and external threads; the upper engine oil cavity and the lower engine oil cavity are provided with polished rod holes; an engine oil threaded hole and an engine oil hole plug are arranged at the upper part of each engine chamber; an oil seepage hole for seeping oil to the corresponding lubricating chamber is formed in the lower part of each engine oil chamber; and an oil immersion sponge for absorbing and immersing engine oil is arranged in each lubricating chamber in the lower part. The engine oil absorbing and immersing sponges can absorb and be immersed with engine oil sufficiently so as to lubricate and cool polished rods and the packing in the vertical movement process of the polished rods; oil leakage pollution and possible fire accidents are effectively prevented, the service life of the sealing packing is effectively prolonged, and the production cost is saved; the labor intensity of a worker is effectively reduced, and the labor productivity is improved.
