Feeder of chip mounter

The utility model discloses a feeder of a chip mounter. The feeder comprises a support pedestal which is provided with a main support plate. A guiding device for guiding operation of a material tape, a peeling device for peeling the protection film of the material tape and a conveying device for conveying the material tape into the chip mounter are transversely sequetially arranged on the main support plate. The material tape peeling device comprises a first gear; and a second gear is arranged above the first gear and engages with the first gear. A pin wheel is coaxially arranged in the first gear; a friction wheel is coaxially arranged in the second gear; and a pressing wheel is arranged above the friction wheel and tightly presses against the friction wheel. According to the invention, the material tape is connected to the dragging head of the chip mounter, so that the purpose of conveying the material tape with no need of a motor is realized; and the friction wheel is controlled to rotate through the engaging relationship of the first gear and the second gear, so that the purpose of peeling and conveying the protection film of the material tape is realized without being controlled by a motor. The feeder is simple in structure and low in cost.
