Zusammenfassung:	The utility model provides a backlight module, which comprises a back plate, a light source, a light guide plate, an optical membrane stack and a plastic frame, wherein the back plate comprises a bottom plate and a side plate; the side plate is longitudinally arranged on the edge of the bottom plate; the light source is arranged on the bottom plate of the back plate; the light guide plate is fixedly arranged on the bottom plate of the back plate; the side surface around the light guide plate is a first side surface; the optical membrane stack is arranged above the light guide plate; the side surface around the optical membrane stack is a second side surface; the plastic frame is clamped with the back plate, and comprises a first surface and a second surface for covering a high reflecting material; the first surface is directly opposite to the first side surface; and the second surface is directly opposite to the second side surface. The utility model further provides a display with the backlight module. According to the backlight module and the display with the backlight module, which are provided by the utility model, the reflecting material covers the first surface of the plastic frame, so that the light reflection is improved; the light loss generated when the ray emitted from the light source penetrates through the light guide plate is reduced; and the utilization rate of the light is increased.
