The ceiling fan comprises a ceiling fan motor, a fan blade and a controller. The ceiling fan motor is provided with a motor shaft penetrating through a stator of the ceiling fan motor. The lower end of the fan motor is fixed with the air purifier comprising a purifier motor, a wind wheel and a filtering net. The side wall of the air purifier is provided with an outer cover of the purifier. An air inlet of the outer cover of the purifier faces downwards. A power line of the air purifier penetrates through a through hole of the stator of the ceiling fan motor and is electrically connected with the air purifier. During operation, air is absorbed by the lower side of the air purifier positioned at the lower portion of the center of the ceiling fan and filtered by the filter screen and then exhausted by the air outlet of the side wall of the outer cover if the purifier. Filtered air enters the lower side of the fan blade of the ceiling fan to be blown downwards. Upward air flow and downward air flow do not affect each other. Therefore the ceiling fan provided with the air purifier is particularly suitable for dining rooms, kitchens and other places with the view of preventing smoke of hot dishes from causing air pollution during a serving process. Therefore, residual odor of an indoor wall and of ornaments is avoided.
