| Zusammenfassung: | The utility model provides an ink jet printer. The ink jet printer (1) comprises a waste liquid unit (42) and a waste liquid unit mounting part (40). The waste liquid unit is used for recovering and storing sprayed waste ink when a print head (22) is repaired. The waste liquid unit mounting part is used for mounting the waste liquid unit. The waste liquid unit mounting part (40) is configured below a base frame (37) forming the bottom surface of a paper feeding cassette mounting part (5), and overlaps the paper feeding cassette mounting part (5) viewed from the vertical direction (Z) of the printer. In addition, the waste liquid unit mounting part (40) and the paper feeding cassette mounting part (5) are both equipped with openings toward the front side (Y1) of the printer. An open/close cover (41) is arranged at a mounting opening (40a) of the waste liquid unit mounting part (40). Therefore, the waste liquid unit is increased in volume without increases of an arrangement area, and is well operable when being replaced, so the maintainabilty is improved. |
