A device for desulfurating acid gas containing hydrogen sulfide and recovering sulfur comprises a combustion furnace (1). A first inlet of the combustion furnace (1) is communicated with the acid gas, a second inlet of the combustion furnace (1) is communicated with air, gas, obtained after the air and the acid gas are combusted in the combustion furnace (1), is communicated with a cooler (2), an outlet for liquid sulfur subjected to cooling is formed in the cooler (2), a mixed gas outlet in the cooler (2) is connected with an inlet of a catalyst reactor (3) through a pipeline, a liquid sulfur outlet is formed in the catalyst reactor (3), a mixed gas outlet in the catalyst reactor (3) is connected with an inlet of a hydrogenation reactor (4) through a pipeline, a gas outlet in the hydrogenation reactor (4) is connected with an inlet of a hydrogen sulfide absorption device (5) through a pipeline, an inner cavity of the hydrogen sulfide absorption device (5) can be further communicated with the air through a pipeline and a valve, and a sulfur outlet is formed in the hydrogen sulfide absorption device (5). The device for desulfurating the acid gas containing the hydrogen sulfide and recovering the sulfur has the advantages of low energy consumption, capability of removing SO2 gas completely and environmental protection.
