The self-supporting steel stairway has the advantages that the self-supporting steel stairway is provided with the penetrating beams, so that supporting upright columns at rest platforms for the steel stairway can be omitted, and sufficient spaces for other purposes can be reserved on the lower surface of the steel stairway; steel consumption required by the upright columns and concrete material quantities required for arranging foundations of the upright columns can be reduced, and accordingly the self-supporting steel stairway is free of concrete curing periods.
