Zusammenfassung: | After tightened, a suture for surgical incisions has certain pressing force upon the skin; the force lasts until removal of the suture, the skin is impressed generally, and the scars of the incision in the future shape like centipede feet. The utility model provides a pad and aims to avoid the suture pressing the skin so as to decrease centipede foot like scars. The pad is placed between the skin and the suture; the suture never presses the skin after being tightened but acts on the pad, pressure is evenly spread to the skin through the pad, tension is guaranteed for the suture, and skin impression is avoided. The pad is made of PP (polypropylene), is 1mm in thickness and as wide as a distance between two sides of the suture and is available in multiple specifications from 0.5cm to 1cm, applicable to surgical uses according to specific conditions; the length of the pad is set according to the length of an incision; the center of the pad is hollowed out in a step form, thus allowing easy leakage of liquid from the incision and helping a surgeon observe healing condition of the incision; two edges of the pad are wavy in shape, thus allowing easy fixation of the suture. |
