The sampling rod comprises a rod body which is of a hollow structure, wherein the left end of the rod body is closed, and the right end of the rod body is provided with an opening; a sampling opening is formed in the left side of the upper end of the rod body; a plurality of material guide grid plates for coverage are obliquely arranged on the inner surface of the rod body; the upper ends of the material guide grid plates are inclined towards the right end of the rod body; the multiple material guide grid plates are arranged in parallel at intervals; the distance between every two adjacent material guide grid plates is smaller than the particle size of a chemical fertilizer particle; the material guide grid plates are made of plastic materials. The sampling rod finishes collection of chemical fertilizer samples in a rotating process; in a sampling process, the chemical fertilizer particles can be prevented from being in direct collision with the inner wall of the rod body; the material guide grid plates can achieve a buffering effect and a flow guide effect, so that the completeness of the chemical fertilizer particles can be protected, and damage to the chemical fertilizer particles can be avoided.
