The optimization structure for the synthetic membrane type potentiometer is provided with a base, wherein a stepped hole is fabricated in the base; a resistor body component is fixed on the stepped end surface of the stepped hole; a rotating shaft is supported on the base through a bearing; the upper end of the rotating shaft penetrates through a centre hole in the resistor body component and extends out of the base; a liner bushing is arranged on the rotating shaft; the liner bushing is mounted and fixed on the rotating shaft in a sleeving manner; an electric brush device is fixed on the lower end surface of the liner bushing and placed inside the stepped hole; electric brushes in the electric brush device are in sliding contact with resistive films in the resistor body component; the electric brushes are driven to slide on the resistive films through the rotating shaft; a conducting wire is arranged on the resistor body component; the conducting wire is connected with a wiring terminal arranged on the right side wall of the base.
