The light flat wrecker comprises a wrecker body with a tray 2; the tray 2 is composed of split frames and a distance adjusting mechanism is arranged between the split frames; the length of the tray 2 is adjustable rather than constant so as to adapt to the length of a vehicle for which an obstacle is removed, and therefore, the wrecker body is required to have relatively high parameter requirements; as a result, the parameter requirements on the wrecker body are reduced and the overall length of the wrecker body is reduced.
