Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a system and equipment for battery management and protection. A battery protection circuit may comprises a power semiconductor switch and a control integrated circuit (IC). The battery protection circuit can be used for regulating charging and/or discharging of a battery, and further preventing the battery from operating outside a safe operating zone based on a protection tripping point (such as an overcurrent detecting point) of the protective IC. The protective IC can be used for calibrating the protection tripping point, so as to compensate the process and temperature variation of on-resistance (RSSon) of the power semiconductor switch.
