The side hung door machine comprises a base plate, a motor installed on the base plate, a control circuit installed on the base plate and electrically connected with the motor, a speed reducing case body installed on the base plate, a speed reducer installed on the speed reducing case body and connected with the motor, a bevel gear pair installed on the speed reducing case body and connected with the speed reducer, a transmission shaft installed on the speed reducing case body and connected with the bevel gear pair, a bearing installed on the speed reducing case body and connected with the transmission shaft, end covers installed at two ends of the base plate and a housing covering the base plate, wherein two ends of the transmission shaft are used for being connected with door leaves, the motor can perform forward and reverse rotation at 360 degrees, the bevel gear pair also has the transmissio
