Apparatus for live-line mounting and dismounting of overhead fault indicator

Disclosed in the utility model is an apparatus for live-line mounting and dismounting of an overhead fault indicator. The apparatus comprises an insulating rod, a support cup with an open upper end, two opposite supports, and a support rack. One end of the support rack is connected with a moving connector. The moving connector includes two opposite lugs; and a mounting groove is formed between two lugs. The support rack extends into the moving connector through the mounting groove; an accommodation groove communicated with the mounting groove is also arranged inside the moving connector; and a first spring and a shift block are accommodated into the accommodation groove. A clamp plate, which is fixed at one end, departing from one end of the support cup, of the support rack, extends into the mounting groove and is hinged with the lugs. When the clamp plate and the support cup make rotation, the recessed portion cooperates with and is engaged with the other end of the shift block. With the apparatus, live-line mounting and dismounting of the overhead fault indicator can be realized and security of the staff is guaranteed.
