A heat storage chamber is additionally formed in the lower portion of a calcinator body, a flue is vertically formed in the middle of the heat storage chamber, a horizontally-sinuous air preheating pipe is arranged in the heat storage chamber and connected with a first layer and a second layer of a flame path, a plurality of electromagnetism generating cavities are formed in the portion, between the first layer and the second layer of the flame path, of the calcinator body, a plurality of electromagnetic coils are installed in the electromagnetism generating cavities and connected with a three-phase power source, and magnet yokes made of permeability magnetic materials are installed on the outer sides of the electromagnetic coils. According to the petroleum-coke calcining pot-type calcinator, due to the fact that the heat storage chamber is additionally formed in the calcinator body, combustion air is primarily preheated; meanwhile, due to the fact that the electromagnetism generating cavities are additionally formed in the two sides of a calcining pot, the electrical resistance of calcined petroleum coke is reduced under the electromagnetic effect; meanwhile, the combustion air is secondarily preheated through cooling cavities outside the electromagnetism generating cavities, and waste heat is sufficiently used; compared with the prior art, the energy utilization rate is improved by more than 30%; by means of the petroleum coke calcining pot-type calcinator, the product quality is greatly improved, and the true density of the calcined petroleum coke is also obviously increased.
