The material sorting mechanism comprises supporting seats arranged on two sides of a conveying belt, and a material sorting rack transversely spanned above the conveying belt, wherein sliding chutes consistent with a conveying direction are formed in the supporting seats; two ends of the material sorting rack are matched in the sliding chutes in the supporting seats in a sliding manner; a plurality of rotating rods are uniformly distributed on the material sorting rack; a plurality of material separating spacers are arranged on the plurality of rotating rods in a staggered manner; a driving rod is arranged on one side of the material sorting rack; a driving cylinder is connected onto the driving rod. The material sorting mechanism is simple and reasonable in structure as well as convenient to assemble and use, and can be used for rapidly and equally sorting medical materials when being matched with the conveying belt so as to prevent the accumulation of the medical materials.
