Zusammenfassung:	The utility model provides a lathe, which comprises a main shaft, a driving device, a first belt wheel, a second belt wheel and a belt, wherein the driving device is connected with the first belt wheel, the main shaft is connected with a shaft of the second belt wheel, the first belt wheel and the second belt wheel are connected through the belt, the driving deice drives the first belt wheel to rotate, the first belt wheel drives the second belt wheel to rotate through the belt, and the second belt wheel drives the main shaft to rotate. The driving device comprises a servo motor and a planetary speed reducer, or a variable-frequency motor and a frequency converter controlling the variable-frequency motor. The lathe has the advantages that the high-power servo motor and the planetary speed reducer are adopted for directly driving the main shaft to rotate through the belt, the stepless speed change function of the main shaft is realized, the rotating speed can reach 40r/min, and the efficiency is more than twice of that of a conventional numerical control lathe.
