Zusammenfassung: | The utility model discloses a direct current converter applied to an electric locomotive. The direct current converter comprises a direct current input power supply. Positive and negative output ends of the direct current input power supply are connected in parallel with a group of voltage dividing capacitors which are connected in series. Both ends of each voltage dividing capacitor are respectively connected with both ends of a group of first switch tubes. The input ends of the first switch tubes are respectively connected with the output end of a second switch tube, or the output ends of the first switch tubes are respectively connected with the input end of the second switch tube. The input end of the second switch tube is connected with the output end of a second switch tube of an adjacent voltage dividing capacitor through a coupling inductor.
