Zusammenfassung:	An openable-body operating apparatus for a vehicle comprises a photoelectric sensor, a driving unit and a vehicle door control unit. The photoelectric sensor mounted on the vehicle can display signs expressing opening and closing of an openable body by light irradiation and detect user intentions to open or close the openable body according to changes of reflecting light of the two displayed signs. The driving unit drives the openable body to open or close. The vehicle door control unit controls the driving unit and enables the openable body to be opened or closed according to related actions of the user intensions detected by the photoelectric sensor. By the openable-body operating apparatus, the openable body can be selectively opened or closed according to the user intentions even if two hands of a user are occupied.
