The system includes a plurality of terminal data acquisition nodes arranged on a power transmission line, gathering nodes, a remote data transmission network and a remote monitoring main station. Each terminal data acquisition node comprises a meteorological sensor, a data storage module, a data communication module and a power module which is connected to and supplies power to the meteorological sensor, the data storage module and the data communication module. Several of the terminal data acquisition nodes and one of the gathering nodes form a cluster, with the gathering node as a head node of the cluster; an ad hoc network is built; and the gathering node is connected to the remote data transmission network via serial communication.
