The packer comprises a central tube sleeved with a rubber sleeve, wherein the central tube is also sleeved with a reset tension spring; a part, which is located between the rubber sleeve and the reset tension spring, of the central tube is sleeved with a piston sleeve in a guiding and moving manner; one end of the reset tension spring is fixed relative to the central tube, and the other end is connected with the piston sleeve; and one end, which is far away from the reset tension spring, of the piston sleeve is in transmission connection with the rubber sleeve. The utility model provides the expanding type packer which is simple in structure and smaller in overall radial dimension.
