Zusammenfassung:	The utility model provides a protection system for a sampling outrange of a gas sensor. The protection system comprises a cavity, a gas pump and a controller, wherein a gas sensor is located in the cavity; the gas sensor is electrically connected with the controller; the cavity and the gas pump are connected to form a closed gas circuit comprising a gas inlet path and a gas returning path; the gas inlet path is serially connected with a first reversing valve and the gas returning path is serially connected with a second reversing valve; the first reversing valve and the second reversing valve are electrically connected with the controller. According to the protection system, the service life of the gas sensor is prolonged and the gas sensor is prevented from being damaged under an outrange environment.
