The traction roll comprises a bracket and a traction roller, wherein two ends of the traction roller are connected with a bracket; a groove is arranged at the circumference of the outer surface of the traction roller; hairbrushes are symmetrically distributed at two lateral walls of the groove; an absorbent material is placed at the bottom of the groove. By adopting the traction roll for pelletizing provided by the utility model, not only can effective traction of a material strip be achieved, but also water on the material strip can be removed in the traction process by the absorbent material and the hairbrushes arranged on the traction roll, so as to achieve the drying target.
