A layer of strip-array dielectric film overlaps on the surface of a conventional surface acoustic wave device chip. The temperature coefficient of the film is opposite to that of a piezoelectric substrate. A strip direction of the film extends along the surface acoustic wave propagation direction, and strip intervals are quasi-periodic values following certain rules. The device is advantaged in that surface acoustic wave propagation is constrained; the temperature features of the piezoelectric substrate is compensated; and the film can be applied to all surface acoustic wave devices to improve the performance of the surface acoustic wave devices. |
