When the automobile distance between two automobiles is smaller than a set distance value, the warning system gives out warning to a driver of an automobile and a driver of a rear automobile to remind the drivers to keep appropriate automobile distance, so that rear-end collision accidents are effectively reduced. The warning system for keeping the automobile distance comprises a radar detecting device, a light warning device and a sound warning device, wherein the radar detecting device and the light warning device are arranged at the tail of the automobile, and the sound warning device is arranged in the automobile, and the radar detecting device, the light warning device and the sound warning device are respectively connected with a host.
