Power adapter, electronic device and electronic system

The application relates to time multiplex of power and data, and discloses a circuit, a method and a device enabling an electronic device to control the power adapter. In an example, an electronic system is provided, wherein the electronic device controls the power adapter through a communication channel. The data transmitted in the communication channel includes temperature and charging capacity of the power adapter and other types of data. In an example, power and data share two same electric wires, and time multiplex of data and power is available. Two electric wires transmit power and data in different time. In another example, a circuit detecting the connection between the electronic device and the power adapter is included. Once connection is detected, power is transmitted from the power adapter to the electronic device. The power transmission can be temporarily interrupted for data transmission between the power adapter and the electronic device.
