The apparatus comprises at least one operation platform, at least one fixing unit, at least one placing unit and at least one clamping device. The placing unit includes a stopper, and at least one limiting part and at least one mounting hole arranged on the stopper. The fixing unit includes at least one fixing part and at least one positioning hole. The positioning hole is used for a head of an external optical fiber to be processed to pass through, and the clamping device is used for fastening the head of the optical fiber to the fixing unit. The operation platform is provided with at least one mounting position and at least one set of fixing holes. Each set of fixing holes are arranged corresponding to each fixing part, and the fixing unit is fixed to one set of fixing holes of the operation platform by the fixing part.
