Disclosed is a stepped lathe tool padding blade for a lathe. The stepped lathe tool padding blade for the lathe comprises an upper part, a lower part and a U-type connecting piece. The lower bottom face of the upper part and the upper top face of the lower part are respectively provided with a step structure, wherein the step structures are matched with each other in a butt-joint mode. The upper side of the U-type connecting piece is inserted into the right end face of the upper part and can be arranged in a sliding mode in the axial direction. The end of the lower side of the U-type connecting piece is provided with a hook and inserted into the right end face of the lower part to be fixed. A through hole is formed in the upper part in the horizontal direction. The upper side of the U-type connecting piece is inserted into the through hole. A long hole is formed in the right end of the lower part in the horizontal direction. A perpendicular short hole penetrates through the inner end portion of the long hole.
