The bypass connecting device is disposed between the European ring main unit and the American ring main unit and comprises a first flexible cable connecting device, a bypass switch, and a second flexible cable connecting device which are connected successively. A European cable terminal is formed by a T-shaped sleeve and a cable connecting terminal which can be separated. A cable equipped with the cable connecting terminal can be firstly introduced from the entrance hole of the European ring main unit and then the cable is inserted from the bottom port of the vertical pipe portion of the T-shaped sleeve. Therefore, the connection between the European cable terminal and the European cable sleeve is substantially facilitated.
