Zusammenfassung: | A backward voltage regeneration circuit and a dot matrix printer are disclosed. In order to enable backward voltage generated in head needle driving wire coils (200) to be effectively regenerated toward a power source and therefore generated heat of elements can be reduced, the magnitude of the backward voltage generated in the wire coils (200) can be detected by a voltage detection circuit (11); based on a detection result of the voltage detection circuit (11), a control signal generating circuit (12) generates a control signal for controlling a switch circuit (13); based on the control signal, the switch circuit (13) and a smoothing circuit (14) cooperatively enable an electric current based on the backward voltage to flow back to the power source; and based on the potential difference generated between a source electrode and a drain electrode of an FET (130) when conduction between the coils (200) and the smoothing circuit (14) is cut off, a transistor (131) enables the electric charge accumulated in a par |
