The updating data are introduced into a central processing unit (CPU) of the monitoring recording plug-in unit, the CPU transmits the updating data to a control and reporting center (CRC) processing unit for verification, the verified updating data are stored in a program data storage unit, and simultaneously the CPU transmits the verified updating data out through an interface. The monitoring recording plug-in unit is compatible with application program and ground data used by the existing LKJ2000 main machine monitoring recording plug-in unit. Vehicle-mounted software and ground software are consistent in upgrading of an LKJ2000 type train running monitoring recording device, and unified management is facilitated.
