The argon is continuously and slowly blown when molten steel is injected into the ingot mould from the rising hole, so that various impurities in the molten steel are brought into the head of an ingot by rising of the argon from the bottom of the ingot mould. Therefore, the impurities can be removed by cropping the ingot, so that the ingot quality is improved.
