The self-contained energy driving device comprises the electric automobile, and is characterized in that a storage battery is arranged on a chassis of the electric automobile and is connected with a driving motor by an inverter; a micro generator set is also arranged on the chassis of the electric automobile and is connected with a change-over switch; and one leading-out terminal of the change-over switch is connected with the driving motor, and the other leading-out terminal of the change-over switch is connected with the storage battery by a synchronous rectification voltage reduction controller. By the self-contained energy driving device, the defect that the electric automobile is stopped on the road due to the insufficient electric quantity of the storage battery can be overcome.
