The system includes a main station system, a point-to-point peer-to-peer communication network, and distribution automation terminals (FTUs). The FTUs are connected with the point-to-point peer-to-peer communication network. The main station system is connected with a communication processor (CP). The CP is connected with the peer-to-peer network. The FTU detects the state of a ring main unit circuit. In a method provided by the system, through carrying out the peer-to-peer communication with an adjacent FTU, the FTU detects and judges whether or not the two FTUs have the fault information so as to realize the fault positioning. When the FTU positions a fault, a control order is transmitted to control the action of a switch, and then the fault is isolated, finally the FTU confirms the state and executes the closing operation, and the power supply to ring main units on the two sides of a fault area is recovered. |
