The safety protection device comprises a steel wire rope, a lever, a support, a safety rope and a guide frame, wherein the support and the guide frame are fixed onto the punching machine, the lever is fixed onto the support, two ends of the steel wire rope are connected onto the punching slider and a first end of the lever respectively, the guide frame is provided with a guide device, a first end of the safety rope is connected with a second end of the lever, a second end of the safety rope is a hand connecting end, and the safety rope bypasses the guide device.
