Provided is an absorbent pad, comprising a body. The body comprises a liquid permeable top sheet and a liquid impervious bottom sheet. Both the top sheet and the bottom sheet are in a geometrical symmetry with the lateral and longitudinal central lines of the absorption pad as the center, enabling the absorption pad to be connected to a user in a forward/backward direction of any longitudinal ends. The absorbent pad also comprises an absorption core disposed between the top sheet and the bottom sheet. The absorption core is also in a geometrical symmetry with the lateral and longitudinal central lines of the absorption pad as the center. Accordingly, the absorption core is divided into a first longitudinal half portion and a second longitudinal half portion in a longitudinal direction.
