The volute of the sand suction pump for the ship is characterized by solving the problem that the volute is easy to abrade and large in volume and weight. The monolayer volute which is adopted enables the surface of an inner shell to have the advantages of high impact toughness, crack resistance, abrasion resistance, high rigidity and fatigue resistance, thereby reducing volume and weight and prolonging service life.
