Zusammenfassung:	The utility model relates to a clamp-type brake of an oil pumping unit, which comprises a brake handle, a spring, a screw cap, a brake rod, a penetrating pin rod, a brake seat, brake clamp teeth and a friction plate, wherein the spring is installed on the brake rod in a sleeving manner; the brake clamp teeth are arranged on the two sides respectively; the outer side of the brake rod is fastened and fixed through the screw cap; the brake handle is connected with and installed at the front end of the brake rod; the lower parts of the brake clamp teeth are placed in the brake seat; the lower ends of the brake clamp teeth are connected and fixed with the brake seat through the penetrating pin rod; the brake rod penetrates the brake clamp teeth and an upwards convex separation blade at the center of the brake seat, and a hole is formed on the separation blade; and the other end of the brake rod is fixed through the screw cap.
