The peripheral walls surround the bottom so as to define a cultivating container or cultivating device used for cultivating plants, and the peripheral walls of the plant cultivating device are connected to peripheral walls of an adjacent plant cultivating device by the connecting device. The plant cultivating device is beneficial as a green roof scheme can be carried out by the aid of a relative simple arrangement mode. For example, the plant cultivating device can be assembled on a roof occasion, is in the shape according with the occasion furthest, is easier to be carried into a limited space of the roof of a building due to combinatorial property, and is easier to realize irrigation as the adjacent cultivating devices are connected together by water drainage holes or water distributing holes.
