Zusammenfassung:	The utility model relates to a communication protocol converter, in particular to a communication protocol converter capable of converting an MODBUS protocol to a Profibus protocol which is used for data exchange between a piece of special equipment complying with the MODBUS protocol and an on-site control system complying with the Profibus protocol. The communication protocol converter is characterized in that the converter comprises an MODBUS protocol interface seat, an MODBUS processing chip, a singlechip processing module, a Profibus processing chip and a Profibus protocol interface seat which are connected in sequence. The communication protocol converter is reasonable in structural design, and by adopting singlechips to convert the data protocol, the communication protocol converter greatly reduces the manufacturing cost and the development cost and lightens the on-site debugging workload.
