Zusammenfassung:	The utility model relates to an LED light source which comprises a lamp holder, an electrode end pin, a lampshade and an LED wafer, and the outer surface of the lampshade comprises a curved surface and a bottom surface, wherein the curved surface is formed by rotating a section of U-shaped arc for 180 degrees by using a positioned straight line of two end points of the U-shaped arc as an axis, and the bottom surface is hermetically bonded with the upper end surface of the lamp holder; the arc part of the U-shaped arc is a half arc; the LED wafer is positioned at the midpoint of a connecting line of the two end points of the U-shaped arc; and the electrode end pin is connected with the LED wafer and led out from the lower end of the lamp holder. The LED light source can fully utilize the luminescence of the wafer, the luminous efficiency can reach 80 percent, and fluorescent powder covered on the wafer can enhance the heat radiating effect and prolong the service life of the LED light source.
