Zusammenfassung:	The utility model relates to a container used for making pickled food, which comprises a container wall (1) and a bottom (2), wherein a protrusive arris is arranged on each top edge at the periphery of the container wall (1), and all the protrusive arrises have the same position. After liquid seasoning and to-be-pickled food are put in the container, two ends of each pressing plate (4) are led through the opposite protrusive arrises; at the moment, the pressing plates (4) float on the liquid due to the buoyancy force of the liquid, and the gap between the pressing plates is small because the two ends are clamped by the protrusive arrises; and therefore, air can be isolated well. The utility model has the advantages of simple structure, convenient use and cleanness, and can ensure that the pickled food has agreeable taste and flavor.
