The solar energy is transformed into electric energy that is stored in the storage battery when having sun by day, and the storage battery is controlled by a light control switch to supply power to the luminescent device of the street lamp and provide illumination at night. The solar battery street lamp is simple in structure and convenient in use, needs no manual control, and can fully utilize solar energy for power storage and effectively save electric power resources.
