Zusammenfassung: | The instrument (10) disclosed comprises a tube assembly (500) supporting an end effector that may be adapted for insertion into and through the urethra into the bladder lumen or into the bladder lumen through incisions in the abdomen and bladder wall and adapted for use in effecting the anastomosis of a patient's bladder and urethra following a prostatectomy. The instrument (10) may include an end effector having a positioner (400), an anchor driver (300) and anchor system (700) comprising a shaft (720) with a lodging structure (730), and/or a combined balloon harness (94) and catheter (96). The instrument (10) urges the bladder wall to the pelvic floor and drives an anchor (700) through the bladder wall into the pelvic floor, thereby connecting a balloon harness (94) within the bladder to the pelvic floor that presses the bladder wall against the pelvic floor; maintaining the balloon catheter (96) in place and draining the bladder during the time required for the tissues to effectively knit; and then deflating and withdrawing the balloon catheter (96) and disconnecting and withdrawing the balloon harness (94). |
