Electric energy metering chip

Electric energy metering chip includes following modules and parts: voltage, current sampling and A/D conversion module (ADC) in use for converting two routes of analogy signal to two routes of digital signal; power calculation module in use for multiplying filtered signal of two routes from ADC module, and converting the filtered multiplied result to the output impulse signal of product; energy calculation module is in use for counting the output impulse signal of product, and the counting result represents electric energy; power on reset and clock unit in use for keeping the metering chip stable working when clock and voltage are in normal state, and entering into corresponding resetting state when voltage is off normal; reference voltage source. Using single chip, the invention accomplishes counting electric energy, simplifies design of electronic type electric energy meter.
